F.I.H.R.E. - Following In His Righteous Examples.
Purpose: To produce spiritually mature youth who will evangelize
the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Youth Requirements:
Open to all youth, ages 13 to 18. Mentor/Teacher Qualifications:
Must be saved, baptized and filled with the Holy Spirit; must
complete Membership Classes; ability to teach the truth about
God's Word; must demonstrate wisdom and understanding; must
attend Teacher in-service with Pastor and Youth Ministry Leadership:
required to observe youth bible study classes in session before
teaching; must possess characteristics of compassion, patience,
non-judgmental and non-critical; must be flexible, reliable,
trustworthy, responsible, demonstrate the Fruit of the Spirit
as described in the Bible, and must maintain composure under
pressure.
Bible Study each Wednesday at 7:30pm

* STARS *
Purpose: To nurture and develop children who will seek to
be like our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Children Requirements:
Open to all children, ages 7 to 12. Mentor/Teacher Qualifications:

Purpose: To grow individuals in their daily spiritual walk
with God. Responsibilities: To live life the way God intended;
to minister and fellowship with others while seeking to impact
our community for Christ; to build quality relationships with
God and each other; to cultivate a spirit of being content
in singleness.

Purpose: To minister to and provide fellowship for adults
ages 55 and over. Responsibilities: To provide community outreach
and church based programs that will build relationships with
God and each other.
Bible Study each Wednesday at 12:00pm

Purpose: To utilize computer technology to
share Christ's love with the world. Responsibilities: Ability
to enhance current ministries through the use of technology;
to equip those who minister with appropriate tools and training
to expand the outreach of the church to connect with people
by using new and innovative methods of communication.

Purpose: To show our praise and adoration of the Lord through
music. The goal of this ministry is to provide lessons to
students and adults ages 10 and above. Responsibilities: Attend
special church services and events; travel abroad within the
Inland Empire to encourage diversity in string instrument
performance.

Purpose: To direct parking lot traffic, assist guests and
seniors upon entering facility as needed. Responsibilities:
Be available to work the parking lot on a rotating schedule;
attend an orientation workshop and assist in establishing
procedures, then assist in implementing them to maximize space
available within and around the grounds of the church.

Purpose: To bring honor and glory to God which is accomplished
by providing a warm Christian spirit that exemplifies friendliness
to all guests, so they may experience genuine Christian love
and warmth. Responsibilities: To greet arriving guests and
members for worship; welcome guests; distribute Sunday bulletins
and other materials at the front door, and give assistance
graciously; must arrive promptly thirty minutes before morning
services and be available to assist with special events.

Purpose: To magnify God through the use of vocal and instrumental
talents, and communicate the Word of God through music. Responsibilities:
Participate actively in weekly Praise and Worship rehearsals
for weekend services and special events; must arrive promptly
before services or events and be ready to praise the Lord.

Purpose: To acquire and share investment opportunities and
disseminate information to enhance skills, knowledge, and
awareness of the church body that will strategically target
financial growth. Responsibilities: Participate actively in
meetings, willing to research various topics and report findings;
utilize available resources to promote growth, look for opportunities
to increase individual and church finances, must be able to
handle God's resources and must be able to provide biblically
based practical skills for managing money, and must be willing
to put God's financial plan into action.

Purpose: To offer a place of care and support to help manage
and minimize individual and family distress. Responsibilities:
Help extend comfort, support, and compassion to those that
are in need.

Purpose: To minister God's Word to the community; share the
Gospel, and encourage fellowship with the CrossWord Christian
Church family. Responsibilities: Go into communities to share
the Word of God and place literature in assigned areas; must
be willing to lead prayer.

Purpose: To help extend the love, comfort, and the compassion
of Jesus Christ to those who may be recovering from life's
painful interruptions. The goal is to invoke life change and
recovery from a seemingly hopeless state of mind, body and
spirit through our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Responsibilities:
Participate in Christian based support groups and be committed
to help direct and improve the quality of life in others;
assist in responding to calls for help; demonstrate ability
to listen, love and encourage individuals in transition; sponsorship
and evangelism.

Purpose: To help provide Christian based programs and minister
to young adults ages 18 to 28 that will encourage and promote
spiritual growth.

Purpose: To encourage seekers and believers to participate
in wellness/fitness activities, which strengthen spiritual,
emotional, physical, and social well-being.

Purpose: To help provide couples with practical tools and
biblical principles to enhance and build a lasting marriage.
Responsibilities: Regular attendance and participation at
gatherings; commitment to assist in building strong and healthy
marriages.

Purpose: To minister directly to those in their moments of
need through prayer and directed spiritual intervention. Qualifications:
Must be a Christian - Born Again (John 3:7), must know that
you love God, believes in Jesus Christ as the Son of God,
and must be filled with the Holy Spirit; must have victory
in manifestation over habits - smoking, drinking, alcohol,
narcotics, and illicit sexual habits.

Purpose: To provide an inviting atmosphere whereby individuals
can comfortably worship God; to provide a relevant and complete
ministry of excellence with joy and vitality so that the entire
needs of the people are met. Responsibilities: Go into communities
to share the Word of God and place literature in assigned
areas; must be willing to lead prayer.

Purpose: To minister to the homeless/displaced community through
various outreach events and efforts. Responsibilities: Serve
as liaison to other ministries within the church; must be
available to go into various park and community settings to
share the Word of God through the provision of food, and clothing
and the spoken Word.

(Men of Valor)
Purpose: To provide a spiritual bond among the brotherhood,
mentor to youth groups, and act as church stewards. This ministry
is for all men ages 19 and over.

WOW - Women of the Word
Purpose: To encourage and mentor women of all ages to live
for the Lord by applying the Word of God to their daily walk
and to invoke positive change in the lives of women everywhere.
Responsibilities: Assist and participate in monthly fellowships;
to serve others by utilizing natural and spiritual gifts;
mentor and encourage other women so they can understand their
purpose in life; empower each other to live Godly lives; assist
other ministries within the church as needed. For all women
ages 19 & over.

Purpose: To devote time and expertise ensuring daily office
functions are handled. Responsibilities: Data entry of new
member and guest forms; prepare, copy and fold weekly bulletins,
and handout materials; assist in preparation of overhead presentations
for services; update bulletin boards, and other duties as
identified.

Purpose: To bring honor and glory to God through contact with
new and existing members and our guests which is accomplished
by providing a warm, genuine Christian spirit during follow
up calls. Responsibilities: Place follow-up calls to new &
existing members and guest and ask how they are doing as well
as seek input on their visit/worship experience and obtain
input.

Our purpose is to minister to the spiritual and emotional
needs of individuals diagnosed with cancer of all types according
to the Word of God. Our focus is to demonstrate the love of
God and offer encouragement to the cancer fighter, survivor,
and their families in an environment that helps to promote
and sustain the quality of life after cancer diagnosis by
providing support through fellowship events, and educational
forums that encourage healthy living and ultimately preparation
for life after cancer.

Our purpose is to provide students and parents with educational counseling. The program will offer students advice on school selection, DST preparation, college admission, writing essays and personal statements, and financial aid.
